Jennylyn Mercado and Dennis Trillo sing 'Almost Paradise' for CoLove; reveals why they stick to old classics

After challenging herself to do never-before-tried activities in Jen Survives, Jennylyn Mercado returns to the CoLove stage with boyfriend Dennis Trillo.

This time, the couple make a duet of the 1984 hit "Almost Paradise," popularized by Loverboy's frontman, Mike Reno, and Heart's frontwoman, Ann Wilson.

In case you missed it, "Almost Paradise" is one of the original soundtracks of 1984 American musical drama film, Footloose.

During the press conference for her contract renewal with GMA recently, Jennylyn answered why she and Dennis stick to only one genre for CoLove.

She said, "Nag-stick kami sa 80's, 90's na classics kasi ayaw naming gumawa ng bago-bagong kanta.

"Ayaw namin makipag-sabayan sa mga bago, ang hirap maging teenager!"

The Ultimate Star further explained, "Para mas maibalik naman namin sa inyo 'yung mga kanta noong araw na magaganda talaga."

Jennylyn also shared that she prepares exciting videos for her fans on her YouTube channel.

"Marami nang naka-lineup at 'yung Jen Survives, meron akong kakaibang gagawin do'n.

She then teased, "Masaya do'n, may guest artists din kami."
